山﨑 萌子
与那国島と東京を拠点に活動。沖縄の伝統的な琉球紙の技法を用い、平面・立体・インスタレーション作品を展開。土地に自生するものに着目しながら、表現の可能性を広げている。近年はSUKIMA GALLERY、三越コンテンポラリーギャラリーなどで作品を発表し、静謐で力強い表現世界を構築している。
Moeco Yamazaki
Based in Yonaguni Island and Tokyo, Moeco Yamazaki creates two- and three-dimensional works and installations using traditional Ryukyuan handmade paper techniques. She explores the expressive potential of materials rooted in the land, focusing on locally sourced natural elements. In recent years, she has exhibited at SUKIMA GALLERY, Mitsukoshi Contemporary Gallery, and other venues, developing a quietly powerful and distinctive style.
